Located in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, near the village of Vallet, Domaine de la Morinière's granitic soils and Melon de Bourgogne vines combine to create an elegant white with beautiful minerality and lemon acidity. The wine is aged for seven months sur lie – that is, on its lees, which are the yeast residues that impart texture and flavour. Here, they balance the wine’s natural salinity; the result is a great pairing for all kinds of seafood.
