Fortnum's Long Walnut Cheeseboard

Serve an infinite variety of cheeses with this long, slender Cheeseboard. Beautifully formed, smooth and robust, the simple serving board has been crafted from sustainably sourced black walnut from North America and coated with soybean oil. It has been engraved with the Fortnum & Mason emblem and is sure to elevate any cheese course.

Over time the surface of your chopping board may become dry and faded. This can quickly be restored with a light coat of food grade mineral oil or even a very light vegetable oil.
For best results, wash your board with hot soapy water and allow to dry. Apply a light coating of oil to the wood and allow to soak into the surface for a short while, then remove any excess with a piece of kitchen towel. To remove unwanted odours from your board you can cut a lemon in half and scrub the surface of the board with salt using the half lemon. Wash thoroughly and allow to dry before reapplying oil.
